ADONIJAH TAKUDZWANASHE CHIWARIDZO

I’m Adonijah Chiwaridzo (Teekay). I am a first born in a family of 3. I grew up in Harare and did my primary at Eastridge in Hillside Harare then my Secondary at Marlborough High school. My interest in rugby started when I did not qualify to be part of the Harare Basketball team (u17) after a season of being on the u14 squad. So I thought to myself I should at least partake in any activity at school….so I ended up joining rugby.

I’m still learning a lot of stuff in the sport ,I can’t say rugby has taken me anywhere yet,but I believe I’m going to make a living from the sport. After I finish my A level,I’m hoping to go for varsity in South Africa and be part of the varsity cup or shield.I want to be a lawyer and at the same time a professional athlete. I am doing Arts at A level & have no qualifications for rugby yet.
